Mara-Lee Statham Appointed as Abundance Canada’s Inaugural Chief Financial Officer

WINNIPEG, August 2025 — On August 1, 2025, Mara-Lee Statham, an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, compliance, and risk management, was appointed as Abundance Canada’s inaugural Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Holding multiple professional designations—including Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C)—Mara-Lee brings a depth of expertise across financial stewardship, internal controls, and data privacy. Her leadership is defined by a thoughtful, analytical approach and a steadfast commitment to ethical decision-making. When asked why she was attracted to Abundance Canada, she said:
