Abundance Canada Welcomes Courtney Feldman as Director of Strategy and Capacity Building

We are pleased to announce that Courtney Feldman has joined Abundance Canada as our new Director of Strategy and Capacity Building. Courtney brings over a decade of experience in designing and implementing capacity-building strategies that strengthen organizational effectiveness and foster meaningful community engagement.
Courtney holds a Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL) and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through her completion of the L.E.A.D.R Leadership Development Program (Crestcom International), Art of Hosting facilitation training, and an Innovation Engineering Certificate.
Prior to joining Abundance Canada, Courtney served as Manager of Capacity Building at The Winnipeg Foundation, where she played a pivotal role in evolving and implementing provincial programs and initiatives that support nonprofit organizations across Manitoba.
Courtney is known for cultivating collaborative, values-driven relationships and is deeply motivated by Abundance Canada’s mission and the transformative potential of its work. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing our strategic plan priorities and human resources initiatives.
“We are grateful to officially welcome Courtney to the Abundance Canada team. She has already been instrumental in the development of our current strategic plan, and I am excited for her support in its implementation. I have had the privilege of working alongside Courtney for several years in the past and know that her immeasurable abilities, strong community values, and core beliefs will only further Abundance Canada’ s future and our vision of a world made better through generosity.” – Alan Goddard, CEO.
Courtney’s roots are in southwestern Manitoba, where she grew up on a grain farm. Now raising a busy family of five with three active tweens and teens, she finds joy in supporting each in their unique sports and activities. A deep commitment to community was instilled in her from a young age, as she watched her parents lead and serve locally. Today, she continues that legacy by actively engaging in her own community, hoping to raise the next generation of community-conscious citizens. She loves the great outdoors and has travelled coast to coast across this incredible country, gaining a deep appreciation for its diversity and spirit.
Please join us in welcoming Courtney to Abundance Canada!
