Abundance Canada is seeking strategic thinkers and collaborative leaders to join our Board of Directors. As a director, you will guide the future of our organization, helping individuals and families plan their charitable giving—a mission we have upheld for over 50 years.

What We’re Looking For
- Governance experience with sizable not-for-profit organizations.
- Expertise in areas such as law, accounting, human resources, communications, or public engagement.
- Understanding of charitable gift planning and community impact.
- Diverse perspectives across background, age, gender, race, and geography.
- Preference for representation from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, or Atlantic Canada.
Qualifications
- Aligned with our purpose, values, and strategic goals.
- Strong communication skills along with integrity and respect for others.
- Collaborative approach embracing diverse viewpoints.
- Abundance Canada donor.
Time Commitment
- Board terms are three years, with the option to serve up to three terms.
- Members participate in approximately six virtual meetings and two in-person meetings annually.
- Additionally, Board members typically serve on two committees.
