Covid-19 Update

The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the global landscape in a matter of weeks. No one knows the ‘end date’ of the extreme measures we have been called to take to protect ourselves, our families and our communities. However, we do know that generosity can be an antidote to anxiety and depression. It feels good to help others. And there are so many in need right now.

Abundance Canada believes that generosity changes everything and we all have an opportunity to help a world that is hurting.

In response to our Prime Minister’s instructions to help curb the spread of the virus, we have taken the following action:

1. Our four regional offices are closed to the public. Even though our physical offices are closed, our staff are available to connect with you. Now is the perfect time to put your charitable intentions into action. Our staff can be contacted via our central toll-free number at 1.800.772.3257 or via email at generosity@abundance.ca. Alternatively, you can reach a specific team member by visiting our Team page. Until further notice, no walk-in appointments or drop-offs are possible.
2. We are still processing charitable gifts.  Our staff will continue to process your charitable gifts as quickly as possible and we will do our best to ensure gift disbursements proceed quickly. However, we ask that you bear with us during these unique circumstances if things take a little longer than normal.
3. All face-to-face meetings with clients and other professionals are cancelled until further notice. Our staff are here to provide you the same level of support and advice from the comfort of your home, through telephone or virtual meetings. You can also use our online contact form.
