Ross Weaver

Ross Weaver is a retired business consultant and former oil and gas executive who brings decades of leadership and governance experience to Abundance Canada. During his career, he served as Vice-President, Administration and Vice-President, Marketing at Suncor Inc., President of PanAlberta Gas Ltd., and Industry Executive Advisor at Petrinex.
Ross joined the Abundance Canada Board in 2021, including a brief pause to serve as Executive Advisor to the CEO in 2024. His expertise includes marketing, finance, project management, strategic planning, and governance.
Throughout his career, Ross has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards, including Sewing Seeds Canada, MCC Community Justice Ministries, and Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta. He is also co-founder of Old Guys in Action, a philanthropic organization that raises funds and awareness for charities through athletic events.
