Gaylen Duncan

Gaylen Duncan is an experienced executive known for a results-oriented approach to leading business management programs. He has a background in Canadian capital markets, with a comprehensive knowledge of institutional equity and fixed income businesses. He is currently the COO for Global Operations at Scotiabank, providing strategic direction and leadership to optimize the organization’s operation capabilities.

His past roles include COO (Canada) for the Bank of America, positions at RBC Capital Markets and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. He is also the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Daily Bread Food Bank, and a director of the Browning Watt Foundation. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations.
