Board member: 2017 – present

Anita believes that love is everything. She is a retired minister and her background in theology has led to her greatest satisfaction of accompanying people in their journeys of faith. She also believes that people want to be a part of something that matters and thinks the work of Abundance Canada matters a lot.

She has served on several boards including Nutana Park Mennonite Church, Rosthern Junior College, Mennonite Church Saskatchewan and the Future Directions Task Force of Mennonite Church Canada. Anita is also a champion of local charities in Saskatchewan that tackle issues such as homelessness, addiction, poverty, underemployment, food security, etc., because they make the difference in the lives of many Saskatoon residents.

Anita is a gardener, a cook, a booklover and enjoys taking long walks every day.  She feels that these activities provide for her a daily rhythm that keeps her connected to creation and thought-filled living.
