Kevin holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and graduated from Royal Roads University in Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Calgary and Canadian Association of Gift Planners.
Work/life balance is very important. Kevin and his family enjoy a variety of activities together including travel, family movie nights, hockey, football, hiking, golf, jogging, etc. They also attend Westview Baptist Church. Giving back to their community includes coaching minor hockey, volunteering at church and school and involving the kids in helping out the neighbors. They are also avid Flames, Stampeders & Blue Jays fans.
Prior to joining Abundance Canada in 2014, Peter served in Project and Program Management at Dell Inc. for nine years, working on global teams to support global and regional customers, cultivating customer loyalty and positive customer experience. Today, as a Gift Planning Consultant, Peter serves to assist generous individuals, couples and families with their strategic generosity, optimizing tax efficiency, and simplifying the processes for family foundations, the donation of securities and private co. shares, and making charity part of an estate plan.
Peter received his certificate for completing the CREST Leadership program, and is involved as a community group leader at Centre Street Church, where he helps to lead the Alpha program, along with other studies about faith. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, and the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors.
Cathy Dyck started at Abundance Canada in the spring of 2016 and has over 20 years’ administrative experience, most recently in the corporate world as a Marketing and Events Coordinator, and prior to that in a local church as the Office Manager. She and her husband Dale have two married sons and five grandsons. They are very active members of First Alliance Church in Calgary.
Prior to joining Abundance Canada, Brad worked more than 30 years with several global food processing operations. His most recent role was plant manager at Hershey Canada. He also held management and leadership roles at Michael Foods Inc. and Canadian Inovatech Inc. in Winnipeg, St. Marys, Ontario and in The Netherlands. Brad is an active member of the Abbotsford community volunteering for many causes and has raised money for local causes such as Canuck Place, Rotary’s Starfish Backpack Program and United Way.
Brad and his wife, Sandy, attend Northview Community Church. They have been active in many ministries over the years in the various cities where they have lived. They have two adult children living in the Abbotsford area.
Irm has been with Abundance Canada since 2009. She began her administrative career at a large utility company while also working in the Fitness, Health and Wellness industry as an instructor and program coordinator. Irm is also a frequent volunteer in her community, her church and with a number of charitable organizations. In 2002 she received a National Fitness Leadership Award for her work within the community. Irm and her husband are long-time members of South Abbotsford Church.
When it comes to building meaningful relationships, Katherine believes that love, kindness, and empathy are winning combinations. In her role at Abundance Canada, she brings more than three decades of experience working with notable charities, such as Habitat for Humanity, Heart and Stroke Foundation, United Way, and 4-H Ontario.
Katherine is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). A devoted volunteer with a passion for paying it forward, Katherine's most profound experiences were as a foster parent and volunteering during the Australian bush fires with the Parndana Fire Station on Kangaroo Island.
When she is not working or supporting, you can find her enjoying the outdoors or travelling with her son.

Prior to Abundance Canada, Harold held a number of positions at a wholesale distribution firm, including shipper, accounting clerk, and purchaser. Volunteer experience includes treasurer position and deacon/elder in his home congregation, as well as various local and conference committees. Harold holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and he has a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Steinbach Bible College. Harold is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners. Harold and his family attend St. Vital EMC Church.
Susan started with Abundance Canada in 2018, bringing extensive experience in relationship based sales and business development. She was the General Manager of the Altona Chamber of Commerce for nine years, followed by five years as the General Manager of the property management division of Bridge Road Development Ltd. Prior to moving to Manitoba, Susan was a director of sales for Jostens Canada Ltd in Ontario. Susan attends Mary Mother of the Church in Winnipeg where she is an active volunteer.
Prior to joining Abundance Canada in July 2020, Jill’s career path focussed mainly on supporting the vulnerable sector of society, using differing combinations of education, administration, and programming. She has used her education and experience in Early Childhood Education, music, and education to incorporate her administrative skills into a variety of fields, including Christian Education and a home based business. Jill and her three children are active in their local community church. Prior to moving to Manitoba, Jill lived in Alberta for over 20 years and she enjoys visiting family there regularly.

Before coming to work for Abundance Canada, Sherri worked for an agricultural co-operative for 13 years, most recently as their store manager. She has received the Certified Financial Planner designation. Sherri graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A. in Sociology. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP). Sherri Grosz and her husband, Rob, attend Elmira Mennonite Church.
Denise Mazik has been with Abundance Canada since the Fall of 2013. She has over 15 years of experience in an administrative role, in the pastoral ministry field. Denise is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada and holds Bachelor of Theology from Emmanuel Bible College. Denise, and her husband Kelvin, have two daughters, and are active members at Creekside Church.

Prior to joining Abundance Canada, Marlow served 16 years with Ontario Swine Improvement, most recently as Operations Manager. He has a passion for serving clients and built many long-term relationships with domestic and international clients. Marlow and his wife Janice have two sons. They attend East Zorra Mennonite Church, where Marlow served as congregational chairperson.
Kristen graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor of Environmental Studies and also has a graduate certificate in Event Management from Seneca College. She has many years of administrative and customer service experience working in the public sector and currently works part time at the Downtown Community Centre in Kitchener. Kristen is an active volunteer with her church, Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, assisting with outreach and community events.

With 36 years in the financial services industry under his belt, David Barker, came to Abundance Canada in 2017 to concentrate on his passion: helping people be generous. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, David has had a distinguished career with firms such as Manulife Financial, Manulife Bank, Scotiabank and FaithLife Financial.
Darren joined Abundance Canada in 1998 as a Gift Planning Consultant. In 2009, Darren took on the role of CEO. He has an undergraduate degree in Theology and a graduate degree in Leadership. He has completed the CREST leadership program and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. Darren has served on several boards including: Kitchener-based Kindred Credit Union, Welcome Inn Community Centre in Hamilton, and the National Board of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) where he served as Chair for two years. He currently sits on the CAGP Foundation board. Darren is a thought leader on generosity and charitable giving. He speaks regularly on these topics at events and conferences across Canada.
Before starting with Abundance Canada, Rachel spent eight years as the Director of Finance at Balmoral Hall-School for Girls, five years with the Financial Advisory Services team at Deloitte in Winnipeg, four years with the Corporate Recovery team at KPMG in the Cayman Islands, and four years as an auditor at Deloitte in Winnipeg. She has served on numerous charity boards and committees including the MCC Canada audit and finance committee for the past three years. She is an active volunteer in her local community and has conducted several volunteer overseas internal country audits for MCC Shared program. Rachel is a CPA-CA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree from the University of Manitoba.
Before starting with Abundance Canada, Rick spent three years self-employed as a business consultant, five years as manager of finance and administration with Abbotsford Community Services, two years as accountant with Western Pacific Building Supplies Ltd. and one year as business manager with Swift Current Bible Institute. Rick holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba, and the Certified Financial Planner designation. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP). Rick and his family attend Charleswood Mennonite Church.
Barbara brings over 20 years of marketing and communications experience to her role as Director of Communications. Previously, she has worked with OneBook, Bible League Canada, and she ran her own marketing consultancy business in the UK with a range of clients from the commercial and non-profit business sectors. She has a wealth of fundraising knowledge conceptualizing and developing campaigns as well as writing various promotional literature. Barbara has a Bachelor of Marketing from the University of Greenwich and is a certified marketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Shelly Wilcoxson has been with Abundance Canada since the Fall of 2013 and has 12 years’ experience as an Executive and Administrative Assistant in the financial sector and ministry field. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. Shelly and her husband, Mark, attend Bethesda Church, where Mark is the Senior Pastor and Shelly serves as worship leader. They have two daughters.

Prior to joining Abundance Canada, Anuj worked at a charitable organization in the United Kingdom as a Communications Manager for nearly seven years. Anuj graduated from the University of Surrey, UK with a MSc in Marketing and also completed an Executive Certificate in Data Analytics from MIT, Boston.
Gayle Fangrad has worked in administration within the faith-based sector for more than 15 years and has been with Abundance Canada since 2013. She studied, and met her husband, at Emmanuel Bible College. They attend Grandview Church in Kitchener and are privileged to have three young adult children.

Elisabeth has been with Abundance Canada since April 2009. Prior to joining the AC team, she worked for several years in accounting, holding various positions including staff accountant for a public accounting firm, accounting in the private business sector, and volunteer church treasurer. Rebecca Braun-Huynh started at Abundance Canada in November 2014. After graduating from Providence College with a Diploma in Bible and Commerce, she began her career at Premier Insurance Group as administrative assistant and bookkeeper. While staying home with her children since 2005, Rebecca volunteered her time with a few different organizations that reach out to immigrants and refugees. Rebecca and her family attend The Meeting Place.
